Somogyi Rebound Movie

This is a Flash movie which I hope helps illustrate how raising insulin doses too rapidly can bring about the wild roller coaster patter of extremely high and extremely low blood glucose called Somogyi Rebound or just "Rebound".

Depending on your security settings, you may be asked what you want to do with the file--you need to select "Open".

I am so computered challanged. I couldn't get it to work. I install it on my own computer it still didn't work.:confused:

When I click the link, a new browser window opens. Then I'm asked what I want to do with the file--open, save, or cancel. When you click "Open", it takes a few seconds for the file to download and then open in your Flash Player.

The new browser window that opened when you clicked the link remains blank--it's the Flash Player on your system that will play the movie.

You can also be asked what program to open this file with--pick Internet Explorer and it will open in a pop-up window.

When the heck does that mean?? Why doesn't my computer speak English?

Do you have a Flash Player and if you do, is it version 8.0 or above?

What your computer's saying is that it doesn't know how to open the file. If you don't have some version of Office or the free Microsoft readers for them, you would be told the same thing if you tried opening a Word or Excel file.
