Hi all,
My daughter had a little girl:D:D:D:D on Sept. 15th. She had to have an emergency c-section but everything is fine. Little Emma Lynne weighed 5 lbs 6 ozs. and was 18 3'4 inches long. She is beautiful. They are home now and you know where I'm spending most of my time:). Tonight my daughter and her husband are bringing the baby over to our house - first time Lady will be with the baby. Anxious to see how she is with her.
Luv,
Lynne and Lady

Congratulations!!! I'm assuming this is number one grand baby??? My first was a girl too. At two weeks old she spent the night for the first time and I will never regret all the time spent with her so young.
It was wonderful!
Have a great time, they are only babies for so long! Hope Lady doesn't mind too much!
Bogie hated me holding a baby and would show me so by sitting in the middle of the livingroom with his back to me. LOL

Thanks all. Emma is our first grandchild. We are so blessed to have her. My daughter was a high risk pregnancy. She delivered the baby at 36 1/2 weeks. When she was 30 wks - they had her going for non stress tests on the baby. The day she delivered she just happened to be at the hospital for the test when the baby went into distress. We were told after that if she wasn't having the test done at that particular time we would of never known there was a problem. I don't even what to think what would of happened. Thankfully everything went fine.
Lady did really well the baby. She kept trying to jump up on the sofa to see her but since she can't jump up we just held her so she could see the baby. At times she just stood with her front paws on the sofa staring at her. No signs of jealousy yet but they weren't here that long. I'm sure she'll do fine with her - come February my daughter will be going back to work and we'll be watching Emma. Thanks again.
Luv,
Lynne and Lady
