The forum has been swarmed over the past few days with spam attacks in which numerous "people" are registering as new members and hoping to post spam messages once their registration is complete.
So you will see many new "members" showing up and then disappearing.
I have placed new registrations on moderation, which means no one can become a registered member, post anything, or send personal messages until I accept them as members.
Instead, I delete them. End of story for them.
I'm keeping an eye on it to see whether more aggressive tactics are needed. And I have banned some email groups and IP addresses.
So if you are a real member of this forum and you have any problems accessing the forum, receive any spam personal messages, or see any spam posts, please let me know (you can email me at k9diabetes @ gmail.com).
So far, it looks like moderating registrations has been entirely effective in preventing them from actively participating, posting, or PMing.
