I have to admit, that since joining this forum, I cry almost everyday. It could be from a story like this, or a posting from someone that lost their best friend that day, and struggling for them to survive just one more day.
I need to be careful when I am reading/posting... otherwise I have some folks that are always asking if "I" am ok.

I have the book and it had been a while since I read it... it's such a sweet, loving tale. I agree with him that it's the lack of artifice in dogs that is a big part of why they are special.
Otis Farrell dx'd 12/10, best friend to his dad, Bill, for over 14 years. Left this world while in his dad’s loving arms 10/04/13. Sonny Farrell dx'd 1/14, adopted 5/15/14. Left this world while in his dad's loving arms 9/06/16. Run pain free, you Pug guys, til we're together again.
I just bought the book. This made me cry - My Harry was exactly like this. Suffering is great when we lose them, but I would not exchange my suffering for a second of my life with my Harry.
