  • Four Years Ago Today

Hard to believe... four years ago today, the K9D forum was launched.

Many thanks to the wonderful people who participate here and make K9D the caring and supportive place it is! Every single day all of you help dogs and their families - it's a tremendous gift of time, energy, and yourselves.

And, in particular, a kiss skyward and a stroke of the forehead to all of the dogs who are family to us and have passed on over those years. They are deeply loved and missed.

Natalie thank you so much for this forum, the Cushings forum, and all the time and knowledge you, the other admins, and the many folks who stick around to help have shared.

I know I've been pretty frazzled sometimes and it helps so much to get information, encouragement and support here from people who have been there.

Happy Anniversary! So glad you decided to include the forum among the web information you put together when launching k9D. So very many dogs have been helped! Natalie, you are one of the most kind-hearted, think-outside-the-box, generous people I've met. Thanks for all you do!

                          Re: Four Years Ago Today

Generosity, seems to me, is Natalie's hallmark. This forum being a very major part of it, though, Natalie, you go a lot further than that, too!

Above all, you provide us with leadership and guidance - about, for instance, carefully distinguishing between dogs according to their differences. Lots of other things, too.

Thanks to you, too, Patty - and Peggy, wherever you are at the moment, swamped, I know!

I could never leave this place. Kumbi died now more than a year and a half ago, but this place is home still, for me and for him, and for his elder companion, Kwali, and now also for non-diabetic Camellia.

Thinking outside the box is a major part of this forum, and we all learn to report with care, too. That plays a very large part of being successful in managing diabetes in dogs.

Natalie - thanks so much for remembering those who have taken their flights to Rainbow Bridge. That means a lot to me. Just as Chris will never be forgotten, neither will Kumbi, even Kwali - nor any of the other dogs who have a presence here, or on Everything Else.

It's a day worthy of great celebration! Onward!

Love and hugs to all my companions here - all of you!
