Re: My Monster Vinny
I'm sure you knew to change to U100 syringes, but I worry if it wasn't mentioned.;)

Re: My Monster Vinny
good for you changing things up! I hope it goes smoothly. I remember when Jenny's vet wanted to change her cushings meds and her insulin because at the time nothing was working, i got in the car and cried at the thought of starting over.
yay for you having the energy to do it! |

Re: My Monster Vinny
Mel,
As Craig said, many of us use the short needle 3/10 ml syringes. They work well even on larger dogs. This is what I use for Lily... http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...66dc2d2796.jpg Keep us posted. It's always great to hear about Vinny. :) |
Re: My Monster Vinny
Well now I'm showing my ignorance! I just bought what they gave me and it the 1ml syringe that doses up to 100! I'll go back today and see if they have the 3/10. That would make so much more sense!
Thanks Mike and Craig! |
Re: My Monster Vinny
Vinny has an eye infection. :( I took him to an emergency clinic this past weekend (because our vet wasn't in), unfortunately it was the same one we took Calli to. Ugh.:( Anyway, they gave me a gel for his eye, but it seems like it's getting worse. I called my vet this morning, but they can't get him in until Thursday. I'm just not sure if I should wait. He obviously is not feeling well.
Any ideas? |
Re: My Monster Vinny
Which gel did they prescribe?
