Its an annual tradition where we spoil Ace with christmas gifts. Mostly a few toys and some treats.

I really have no clue what kind of treats we can give him in...

I suppose but id rather not risk it not knowing what Id get.

Im going to wait for next weekend. I know my normal vet wont be there, as "rookies" go there on the weekends for their schooling...

Nope, back to drinking and urinating back to normal. Its just he leaks when sleeping. Its not much, but for a hairy white furred dog it's very noticable.

I called the vet, and they refuse to put...

Ok thank you. For some reason I was under the impression it was you give them insulin and within days everything is fine.

Just had a brain fart. Gave ace his novelin n and dinner. Took his blood sugar 15 minutes later and it was 412. It takes about an hour or two to kick in right?

Small update. They were closed again today, but they did call. I take ace tomorrow night.

We did get the results of the culture though. He says its a very severe uti and the antibiotics ace is on...

Realized I made a mistake on my last post. It was 291, not 201.
Took it first thing this morning and it was 160.

Should note the antibiotic he is on is clavamox 125mg twice a day.

I took his blood glucose an hour after his dinner and meal. Was 227.

Question is, could a uti and medicine raise his blood...
