Just remind me, are you still giving 7 units twice a day ? That is very low for the size of your dog.
I would try going to 8 units first for a few days at least just to see its effects....

Hunger is a great motivator, do not give any treats, put it down and give him 15 mins .
If he eats none to 1/4 give 1/4 of insulin
-----------1/2 give 1/2 of insulin
You just have to guesstimate...

There are 4 boxes of 50 Freestyle Lite strips right now on ebay.co.uk for 42 plus 3 postage, so 200 strips for 45 to buy now.
Now the cheapest I can buy the AlphaTrack strips are for 40 for 50,...

It is not the highs you need to worry about too much it's the lows and your dog going Hypo.
If you go with a Human meter can you get the strips a lot cheaper than the Lite strips I quoted?, i doubt...

I think you should realise that when using a Human Meter there is no conversion figure you can use. This is for measuring Human blood and you are measuring Your Dogs blood. They are not the...
