Jesse's eyesight and even her hearing has declined as she got older . She does not have diabetic cataracts but its just part of getting older as things wear out .

She needs a bit more help with...

Glad it was figured out . Anytime jesse has an upset belly I fast her for 24 hours and then return food in smaller portions until stools...

Maybe things are beginning to settle . I was the same way and did whatever I could do to get her numbers down . I also wanted to preserve her sight and she has not developed cataracts . Not sure why...

Not unusual. I have seen jesse drop after meals . I think we look at dogs being like humans and digest food similarly but they dont . My thought dogs dont produce much immediate blood sugar from food...

As I suggested You could switch to one meal a day . Jesse has done that for her almost entire diabetic life . Its funny she would gladly eat twice a day or more but its the only way I could get her...
