Yeah you are right about the diet part where vets don't know much about it besides "buy this dry dog food". If your pet cant eat said dry food and the vet really doesn't have an answer, it is scary...

Wow those are nice numbers for a raw diet. Im looking into options incase my dogs diabetes changes trajectories and your diet seems to be a nice option if i run into a problem regulating later on.

Yeah sounds like a good plan and see how its goes. I had similar numbers when i was testing but mine were more drastic in the dip. He would go from fasting at 350-400 then 4 hours later Nadir to 80s...

From the report I got from the hospital the highest recorded was 488 I believe and when he was returned to me it was 159. I havenít got hold of a BG meter yet so was wondering what type I should get....
