The vet may not find much out there about insulin resistance but just being on boards it seems that "anything" could cause insulin problems, what works for one won't work...

Omega 6 is an inflammatory and what he gets in his food is enough. Any more throws off the O3 O6 ratio. A high quality fish oil won't have O6 in it. I recommend Carlson brand. And purchase...

If it was me, I'd go back to the basics especially considering the vagueness of the symptoms.

Not sure what kind of Salmon oil you are using but I like products that have at least 300mg...
