No. I just went to Amazon and bought from the cheapest source, don't remember the name of the place. Think it may have been "OTC Discounts"

Sure they would not work in the OTU.

The reason the FreeStyle Lite strips may work in the AlphaTrak is that they are both made by Abbott. Sort of like being able to use your OTU strips in other meters made by Lifescan.

Yep, would have to be made by same company. Great comparisons Craig. I can just "see" Annie's excitement this morning.

Okay to be clear for me
The strip box actually states Freestyle Freedom Lite.
I ask because I find the Freestyle lite ( with butterfly design) all over the place but I have not found any where Freedom was clearly stated on the strip box.
A tad confusing to me
Thanks for your help

I hope this link works. I think as long as they are the type with the butterfly design they are the new style. I've used both the yellow box that's in my link, and the white "not for resale" FSL strips. I believe the older style are the blue boxes.

Okay then,
and thanks I have used these for awhile and just never noticed the word Freedom used in the bottom line. States for use in Freestyle lite and Freestyle Freedom lite systems.

I have found the freestyle freedom meters and noticed the strips are like the ones I am using
Thanks again
