Re: Fua - 13 year old dog, not doing well at all
Hard to say if the 2 are related . jesse had blood in her stools early in her diagnosis it was bright red so you know it was occurring somewhere close to where the stools were coming out .
It stopped on its own and have not seen an occurrence repeated since that time
any other symptoms diarrhea vomiting ? not eating well . things out of the norm . does the vet have any ideas ? leg weakness is not that uncommon in dogs and it appears to be difficult to diagnosis
I think the first thing is to determine if its pain or just weakness . pain medication can help to determine that if he gets better you know its probably a pain issue if not it may point to just weakness
A neighbors dog had weakness and pain in the back area it ended up being a spinal issue that was actually cleared up with a chiropractor
hope fau gets back to his old self soon
