Mimi

My Maltese, Mimi is 15 lbs and right now using 15u of vetsulin twice daily. She is also cushings and is taking 15 mg of vetoryl twice daily. I don't understand what insulin resistant is. I know we have progressed to the max level of insulin. We haven't tried the Novolin NPH. and was wondering if she may do better on this insulin. Just wondering where we can go from here. I'm afraid she can't produce any insulin of her own. Can anyone give me some insight???
