  • Urinalysis Kit For Home Use

I must share this product simply because it has helped me and Mile my dog.
One thing that happens with diabetic dogs is elevated glucose .
Thus you must ask your self what is causing the change in glucose reading?
One common cause is urinary tract infections.
This test is just like the vet office. I checked the accuracy and it was spot on.
It currently comes with 8 complete test strips that are individually wrapped.
Easy to read instructions and information on results.
It screens for more than 10 of the most common diseases that
can affect your dog or cat, even before symptoms appear.Including: kidney disease,
    kidney infections,bactetial infections,urinary tract infections,urinary bladder disease,
    hepatitis and liver conditions,pH,ketones,glucose.
The test strip has a colored test for: Leukocytes,Nitrate,
    Urobillinogin,Protein,pH,Blood,Specific Gravity,Ketone,Billirubin,Glucose.
If you see an infection you can contact your vet sooner to prevent the infection from
getting worse. I love it for pH too, since my dog is prone to bladder
stones.I really like this product,it is another helpful tool for monitoring
    my dog's health.
The cost for complete kit is $29.95. Then after that you can buy
refills for 6 months for $15.95,12 months for $25.95,24 months
    for $38.95.
The company is Lily and Me in Fairfield,Iowa.
    The product is called,The PetCheckup.

You can also buy just the test strips (all you really need) here for $15.95 for 100. they give the exact same 10 results.

The color codes are on the strip container Be aware that on all these strips some of the values are not reliable: specific gravity, protein & leukocytes.
They are very good at spotting/confirming UTIs by the blood indicator. Also the ph is very good if you are testing regularly as most infections will change the ph to more alkaline long before the UTI shows up anywhere else.

I used these with Piper last year:
Easy at Home 10 Parameter Urinalysis Strips

I got them on Amazon, but can't find them anymore on there. They worked great to monitor blood, pH, ketones, and leukocytes. My home results lined up with the UA results from the vet.
