Re: Sparky - the battle of the sugar
I have not been posting for awhile due to health issues and stress - my youngest son is in Iraq right now flying Navy MEDEVAC missions. Aside from having rocket missiles fired into their base, he has had to land in combat areas where convoys have been hit with explosives with severe injuries and 1 soldier, unfortunately, KIA. I am worried night and day.
All that being said, we continue to battle Miss Chloe's Cushing's and try to regulate Mr Sparky's diabetes. The Doc put Sparky on probiotics which cleared up the runny stools. We put Sparky on a regular diet - Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight. I did a glucose curve yesterday and, although we didn't see his regular 200 point drop at 2 hrs post insulin, have a look at 8 hrs post - what the heck is that? Am going to do a longer curve over the weekend.
