My dog Apache just diagnosed with diabetes last week, I was so devastated and was so depress the whole weekend. I don't understand he's in good health, walked many long walks everyday no matter how bad the weather was, and in the right weight but now he has diabetes.The poor thing has to suffer 2 shots a day and blood test everyday, but
sofar, we still can't get his blood test at home from our monitor. We tried to get blood test but had a hard time getting it. He doesn't even want the treat anymore, cuz he realized that we hurted him whenever we gave him treat. I'll have to go to Vet office today for them to teach me how to get the glucose monitor . Poor thing, we poked his ears so many times and still couldn't do it, time ran out before we could get the number. I also heard about all diabetes dog going blind, that freaked me out. I found this supplement call ocu glow that supposed to slow the blindness. I hope it'll work. Have anyone ever heard or used it before?
