I'm so sad to read this. Don't know why I didn't see it 2 days ago. My heart goes out to you.

Oh gosh Bill, I am so sorry, how wonderful you loved him so much you could let him go😢.

So many of our furbabies were there to greet him when he crossed the bridge...

Bill,

I am so sorry to have read this and I missed your post back in March, when he was first diagnose. You are the kindest, sweetest person to have taken on another diabetic dog, and gave Sonny a wonderful remainder of his life. I think at that time, he thought he passed on and went to heaven.

Take care of yourself, I know that Otis was waiting for him.

Hugs,
Barb

Bill,
I want you that I am so sorry for your loss. I know Sonny knows how much you love him, and is thankful you were with him when he made the journey. Just like the poem said your love and friendship passed the test.
Hugs to you and your family, and a kiss skyward for Sonny and Otis,
Audrey

I overlooked posting Sonny's 1st remembrance too. Likr Otis, he knows he's in my thoughts and prayers and is dearly missed too.
