I was so sorry to read this. I am sure Spirit knew how much you loved him. You obviously took great care of him. I hope your happy memories of him will comfort you.

Jim,
I have been traveling and missed Spirit's sudden issue until now. My heart is breaking for the loss of your big guy. I'm so very sorry. He was a truly beautiful dog and soul.

RIP, Spirit

Thanks all....healed a bit by doing a tribute video from puppy to the morning he crossed the bridge. Lots of vacation shots of our travels.

Search for "Spirit-bear tribute" on you tube. Sorry, I couldn't copy a link.

Oh Jim, I haven't been here in a little while and my heart dropped reading the title of your thread. You and Spirit had a special connection. You understood his patterns, personality, and nuisances like your own. He was blessed to be in your care and given your love.

I can't help but think after Ali's brain tumor that the shorter end time can be a blessing as well as a deep sadness.

Run free, gentle Spirit and tell my Ali hello and that I miss her everyday as I know you will miss your handsome boy.

Lifting you up, Jim.
Patty
