I also hold her up reading the nutritional data on all the grocery items. Don't want all the excess sugar & carbs in MY meals (I've lost 40 pounds since last summer!)

When my daughter was first diagnosed with diabetes I was taught to inject air into the bottle in the same amount as insulin to be removed. I often wondered if it makes any difference. You would think the more times the rubber seal is poked the better the chance of contaminates getting in. I have to say I have never read the instruction insert.
