Craig, words can't describe the time when our most loyal and true friend has to move on. Doesn't seem fair.
But we need to think about everything we learned from their companionship, and be very thankful and grateful to have had the opportunity to own a dog, and remember the positive influences it had on your lives. Heartfelt condolences.

Oh Craig, my heart hurts for you. It's so very hard, even when we know it's "time". I recently lost my oldest schnauzer, Bailey, (non-diabetic) 5 weeks ago. He was 15.5 yrs old. I heart aches so bad for him and I am still having hard time realizing he's gone. He and my Gus were buddies. And, with him being older, I had to care for him with his senior problems, as well, as take care of my Gus with his diabetic routine. We had a special bond, as I know you and your Annie did. Hold on to your precious memories, and it's okay to grieve. You had your precious Annie for 16 long years and the bond you two shared was pretty special. "Hugs" to you, Craig.

So sorry to hear this, Craig. You've taken great care of Annie's diabetic needs for the last 9 years, providing your buddy with a great quality of life, despite this disease. They're smart little beings, and she knows how much you've done to care for her and how much she's loved as a cherished member of your family..
Again, Craig, I'm very saddened to learn this and offer my deepest condolences to you and yours, ... and Godspeed to Annie.

Craig, I am so sorry and my heart hurts. Annie had the best of care and you did such a wonderful job. Through Annie's journey you both have helped so many and inspired me to know it can be done.

Craig... I knew this day was not far off but hoped against hope that she could stay longer. I suspect the seizures were a symptom of the thing you couldn't get past and it was only a matter of time. It seems to me that your decision-making was exactly right.
I'm just so sad. I think Annie must hold some kind of a record for living with diabetes, with much of the responsibility for that down to you and your incredibly dedicated care for her. Sending her a kiss skyward and a hug to your and yours. Natalie |

Craig I can't think of any words to describe How bad I feel knowing You to had to make the decision to let Annie go. I have been there a few times in my life also and I always have a hard time understanding why our Furry Friends can't stay with us longer.
Our Hearts go out to You and your Family My Friend . Dogg
