Is anyone else getting one cold etc after another this year?

I never had sinus trouble in my life but this year has been the pits, I'm not used to taking sinus med's the RX kind, they do help and the antibiotics, but I am tired of it.

Flu or what? Now yesterday i get a mild sore throat and havent had a sore throat since I was about 10 and head stuffy and dry cough, in a bit I'll be taking the pill with the epedrine in it and some of that mucas stuff its called Duratuss PE.

But this has happened at least 4 times since spring, i really feel for those that have to deal with this all the time.

I think its something that's going around a differnt type each time I get it, I like being outdoors but never got all this BS. I can take the sore legs and arthritus but with this chiming in is taking it toll......

Yuck!! I hate colds... they take so long to completely go away. I'd almost rather have the flu and be violently sick but only for a couple of days.

Any possibility of a mold problem at home this year? That could explain the sudden onset of constant problems.

Hi Dolly,
I wonder if you are not a little run down. When life's road has a few bumps it is easy to get a bit sad and the body reacts as well. You have had a tough time lately and maybe doing something nice for yourself will help. Buy yourself a present or have your hair done or even a massage if that's what you like. A cheaper pick me up (it works for me) is a good book and a bubble bath. Sometimes if the head is happy the body is too. Hang in there.

I know, Dolly, that there's a lot of stress in your life so I hope you can find some ways to take care of yourself - I know it will help.

Oh feeling 1/2 better today its 55 and I want to go outside, i went and bought those lined blue jeans, i can't stand this sickly BS, debating it, should I and shouldn't I go outside today

Oh I had a relaxing night from the cough, my doc had rx-ed some of those cough pearls which are ok and make you drowsy but really don't do the job.

But my mom had a rx liquid cough med with codiene in it. You shouldn't take anothers rx, but I had to, I had forgotten how relaxing codeine is in the mild form, I never like the pain pills i used to get from surgeries got the bad dreams, but i was able to lay and watch TCM all the Donald Pleasance movies were on last nite. Free of cough and free of my stomach pain from coughing.

I guess I was a "bad dog no bone" it was worth being bad.
