Thinking of you and Tim today, Patty. Despite the passing of time, some days just don't get any easier.
Beautiful pictures. Ali was such a special girl. I think we all still miss her too.
Here's to hoping she sends you a sign from above letting you know she is looking after you today.

I'm sure Sparky Love has pulled out the extra special treats to share with Ali today.
Sparky Love, diagnosed March 5, 2014. Enrolled in Kinostat study to prevent cataract formation. Pancreatitis June 16, 2014 - hospitalized for 6 days in the ICU. Went to the Rainbow Bridge June 23, 2014. I love you very much, baby.
Thinking of you all today both sadly and very fondly.
Ali would have liked the Reno NV dog park... it's huge - 30 acres or something like that... with reedy irrigation canals and hills and, best of all, humongous toads! Jack found one there and he wanted it in the worst way.
Time is precious indeed! Fortunately we have photos to look back to remind us of happy times!
Thinking of you today!
Mel: My monster is Vinny! He's a black lab, diagnosed with diabetes June 21, 2013. His birthdate was celebrated the last weekend of May. He left this world on July 27, 2018, he was 12 years old.
Thinking of you all today Patti. Ali you and Ali were such an inspiration to us all, every minute of every day... I try to remember the gorgeous healthy girl she was and it brings a smile to my face and an awww to my voice. She will always be remembered and loved💜
Tami, thank you for your notes on Ali's picture album. I've "known" you and Soaphie, before Syd was diagnosed, since 2008. We both lived in different states then. That's 6 years. Amazing. Same with so many others here. We definitely learn from each other.
You all have touched my heart every step of the way...helped me problem solve, calm my worries, held my hand, and lifted me up when it hurt too much on my own. AND, remember important dates to me even when I've been away and unable to do more than check in. What a very special family . Thank you!
Natalie, Ali would have gone crazy, out of her mind with that much space to run in! And toads...haha. I'd be trying to keep it out of her mouth. Don't they make dogs foam too? Bleh. Anything that moves was game for chase. If it didn't move, it was boring.
Happy Halloween from 2006
Patty and Ali13.5yrs 47lbs diagnosed May '08 Ali earned her wings October 27, 2012, 4 months after diagnosis of a meningioma~ Time is precious ~
Where I live, we have bufo toads, which are actually deadly for dogs. If a dog gets hold of a bufo it needs to go to the emergency vet IMMEDIATELY. I've known of at least 3 dogs that were hospitalized because of bufo toads and 2 that passed away from them.

Oh thanks for the pictures Patti! Love seeing her.
I really can't believe it has been 2 yrs....... I can still feel the ache we all went through during her last days. I hope those memories are finally fading and being replaced by the young healthy ones. With the trauma at the end it can sometimes take a very long time.
The picture of her in the leaves is my 2nd favorite, right behind the one of Ali coming off the ground to catch the ball.
Tara
Tara in honor of Ruby.
She was a courageous Boston Terrier who marched right on through diabetes, megaesophagus, and EPI until 14.
Lucky for both of us we found each other. I'd do it all again girly.
