Chemical clears cataracts in lab experiments with human lens tissue, mice

A company is developing the compound into an eye drop treatment for use in humans.

Wonder if it will work on dogs too????? Wouldn't it be wonderful!!!

hmmm they did say they used a dog but had to inject the chemical directly because it was not soluble to use as drops but it said it had positive results

i guess they are treating this as old age cataracts and not diabetic . which i think dogs only get not sure if that makes any differance

it would be interesting if they took the testing to diabetic dogs because there are allot of them

maybe its possible to contact the company to let them know there is an endless supply of test subjects as far as diabetic dogs if safe to give

This would be so fantastic!!! Not that blind dogs are a huge issue since they do so well without sight but I know Hank would have liked to see again!
