Just to humor the vet, I purchased an 8.5 bag of Hills W/D and Max hit a low of 46 last night when before injection he was 248. Clearly, this is not his issue and I did give him Karo syrup last night...

It's wicked expensive and the only one the vet put on Max lasted almost two weeks...
Since then, I'd put them on and they lasted anywhere from 2 to 7 days.
I've since used the Alphatrac.

I think reducing the dose was a mistake... After breakfast we got to 135, but subsequent readings were all high, including 539 just before dinner...
