i.d get a pic of both the genteel and pet test lancet check them side by side and see which one is smaller. people are using both. you would think the pet one would be smaller

i didnt urine test Riles either. i thought testing and monitoring his blood glucose 3 x a day was enough to catch any highs or lows.

i would think if Maxs bg was going high a few days,...

i would make small changes in his diet to bring down his blood sugar. under 250 for most of the day is considered regulation

maybe take out the treats just...

i remember giving Riles bloodsugar a jolt by upping and downing his food or insulin once in awhile. change seems to work for better regulation.

its time for the vet to check the Pugsley s eye, may he needs antibiotics

might as well go back up to 9 units

another option would be to inject the 9 units of vetinsulin and then feed more food. no more than 1/4 of a cup.

the other option is to change insulin

you brought his blood sugar up and saved a hypo incident. retest when u get a low. the alphatrack is good Nothing to be sorry about

40 is low and warrants at least a 1/2 unit reduction.
