  • Question for AlphaTrak users....

    Hi all,

The strangest thing just happened. I was doing a reading on Ladybug, had blood and was doing everything I normally do....I got an Error 3 message. I've never had an Error 3 before so when I checked in the book, it said either a problem with the strip or a problem with the meter.

So I took a strip out of the bottle I'm using and tested with control solution, the reading was 119, should be between 123-185. So I opened a new bottle of strips , tested with control solution and it was 135. I went back to the OLD bottle and tested a strip with control solution and it was 132. Normally when I test with the control solution, it's always been in the 150's. The little battery image is not there, so I don't think I need a battery. The meter is only 3 months old and I haven't gone over 1,000 readings.

When I finally got her reading, it was normal for her.

    Has anybody had this happen?

    Hi Linda

I have gotten error 3 but it was because I had the strip in backwards. It doesn't seem to like that much
Forbin, miss you every day. See you at the bridge Buddy.
