    Hi Patty
Ali looks very comfortable in her new bed. You did great finding her the right one.

Ali reminds me of my childhood dog. She's so lovely.

Oh yay! My Ali picture fix.

Hope the BUN just turns out to be dehydration. I really don't know anything about that value.

Sometimes when I thought Ruby might not be getting the water into her cells I would mix her food up with Smart Water because of the electrolytes it has in it. Not sure if it made a difference, but it made me feel better.

Lucky for both of us we found each other. I'd do it all again girly.

That's good to know Judi regarding Jenny's BUN. Don't worry about complaining about shots here Judi ...we each have our own challenges and this is a good place to find support!

        Thanks Anne-Marie and Anna

I hope that's all it is too Tara.

I did finally upload our "work in progress" on getting up to the ottoman. It's not the greatest video but you can see my crazy boxes I used as a step. Some days she's hops up great...other times her back legs miss and she does a stomach plant into the side of the box

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWc1HcPPF3M&feature=plcp

She did better trying the stairs today. Once her legs started moving she really gave it a good shot. I wound up moving them for her and supporting her quite a bit of the way but it's progress. Not sure if she'll ever walk them again or not but we'll keep trying.

That hop up was fantastic! Great job on making it accessible for her - you can tell she does enjoy her view.

Does she always lay down the way she did at the end? I ask because Decker still lays down that way, followed by a huge grunt. Been trying to figure out if it is a weakness/hip thing or just habit for him.
