Re: Solid Gold Dog Food??
I am not familiar with any diabetic dogs on this food. The tapioca is somewhat of a controversial ingredient - it seems to be high on the glycemic rating and higher in calories without as much nutritional value. All these factors are merely on paper so I wouldn't necessarily rule it out strictly on that. Sometimes things work , sometimes not. I would love to hear if you decide to try it what results you get.Maggie - 15 1/2 y/o JRT diagnosed 9/2007, Angel status on 6/20/16. Her mantra was never give up but her body couldn't keep up with her spirit. Someday, baby.......

Re: Solid Gold Dog Food??
Not sure if you ended up going with this food or not but I did feed Hank this for awhile and he did fine. It's our old mantra - every dog is different - when it comes to food. A lot of it is trial and error with each dog til you find the one that works with your dog and it's issues. Mine is particularly picky and has ended up eating cat food a great deal of the time...I don't like it but we deal.
